The Museum hours of opening are from 10.30am to 4.30pm. Last admission is at 3.30pm.

It is open throughout the year on Sundays, Wednesdays and most Bank Holidays. From May to the end of September, it is also open on Saturdays. Please visit the events diary page before your visit to check for any variation to these standard times, especially around Christmas and the New Year.

We will also open the museum for private parties by special arrangement outside normal opening hours, but on such occasions there are no concessions and a minimum charge of £60 applies; click here for details.
